Roloway Monkeys
(Cercopithecus roloway)
Roloway Monkeys are playful and charismatic animals. With their long tails, they have impeccable balance and it makes them amazing climbers. They spend most of their time looking for fruit (or pearls, in our case) and monkeying around.
Deforestation and uncontrolled hunting for bushmeat are to blame for the Roloway monkeys title as critically endangered. Brescia has partnered with West African Primate Conservation Action (WAPCA) to help protect the Roloways and their natural habitat in Ghana.
It was not hard to draw inspiration from these beautiful creatures. Roloways are full of personality and are always strutting an incredibly picturesque pose. Their sleek and slender silhouettes paired with their trademark black triangular face make them naturally stylish and unique.
